Garlic Slow-Roasted Lamb Riblets

If you’re looking for affordable, tender, flavorful lamb, have we got a treat for you.  Rub this simple mixture of spices on our Pastured Lamb Riblets, set up your smoker or slow cooker, and start licking your chops.  Serve with Majadara (spiced rice with lentils) or plain rice, tabouleh and crisp red pepper.
3 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp sweet paprika

1 tbsp black pepper

1 tbsp curry powder

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp onion powder

2 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (increase to taste)

Combine spices then coat outside of ribs thoroughly.  Cook 8-12 hrs in smoker at 200F or steam, covered, in an oven at 250F for 6-8 hours.  Finish on a hot grill to crisp up if desired.
